Controls:

  • Arrow keys = Left, Right is move, Up is aim upwards, Down drops down
  • X = jump
  • C = shoot

Update1:  Added sound effects, some juice, and the ability to shoot upwards.

Update2:  Revised ground tiles, added first enemy, added health/damage.  Note:  If you die, refresh the page!  Respawn logic isn't implemented yet.

Update3: Fleshed out level 1 and finished it up.  Added new enemy and music, and rest of level effects.

Update4: Changed music, reworked UI a bit, added healing items.  Tweaked some internals and added something new, figure out what it is. :)

Update4a: Tweaked health item recovery rate, and music volumes.

Update5: Finished level 2.  Tweaked gameplay a bit more;  Regens spawn more, and you can now drop down from platforms.

Update6 (final Jam update):  Finished the boss.  So the final version has 3 levels total, plus now an intro and ending.  It's done.  I had two more levels planned but alas, ran out of time.

Pretty cool, music and art really feels like a retro game. Loved the opening title screen text.
